TrustGuard is a scam-detection assistant that combines a deterministic rules engine with an AI evaluation layer. It scores messages and described situations against dozens of known fraud patterns — including gift-card demands, grandparent scams, impersonation, and urgency manipulation.

TrustGuard is designed to support your judgment, not replace it. A high risk score means the content shares characteristics with known scams. A low score does not guarantee the content is safe. Always verify with the organisation or person through a trusted, independent channel.

The deterministic base analysis runs entirely on the server that hosts TrustGuard — no content leaves that infrastructure unless the operator configures an external AI provider.
